JamesDonkey welcomes the second generation of the R2 keyboard, the JamesDonkey R2 2.0. The second generation brings an independent RGB chip that controls the RGB backlight on the keyboard. It also adopts JamesDonkey’s newly developed QMK driver software. The R2 2.0 also has a quick response with lag-free, no-delay input. It has a response time of just 1~2ms. The driver software here is web-based, so no need to download and install any driver for adjusting different settings on the keyboard. JamesDonkey has developed the new “Latte” switches with Huanuo for the R2 2.0 keyboard. These switches offer silky smooth typing feedback on the keyboard, perfect for both work as well as gaming systems!!

JamesDonkey R2 2.0 keyboard is crafted with great precision. The keyboard is made using a high-precision CNC-machining process. It is made up of high-quality aluminium alloy material. Aluminium alloy is not just lightweight but also has outstanding durability and strength.
Newly-Developed QMK Web-Based Driver:-
JamesDonkey has developed a web-based driver the R2 2.0. There is no need to download or install any driver, users can simply connect the keyboard and access all the different settings and functions using the web-based driver software. It has QMK programming functionality as well, allowing the users to remap the keys as and whenever required.
Dynamic RGB Experience:-
Another key upgrade with the R2 2.0 over the former model will be the RGB experience on the keyboard. The R2 2.0 houses an independent RGB Chipset which enables about 22 different lighting effects on the keyboard. With south-facing RGB LEDs, the R2 2.0 produces a bright and vivid RGB experience for the users.
Super Comfortable Gasket Structure:-
JamesDonkey R2 2.0 keyboard promises super comfy typing feedback with its gasket-mounted internal structure design. The keyboard has soft gasket mounts to hold the keyboard plate on its position. It gives the keyboard a soft, elastic typing feedback. It also has five-layered internal padding featuring PORON Sandwich cotton, IXPE Undershaft padding, etc.
Dual-Tone Injection Molded PBT Keycaps:-
JamesDonkey R2 2.0 keyboard features OEM height dual-tone injection-molded PBT material keycaps. These keycaps offer amazing durability with good resistance to regular wear and tear. They are also resistant to oil stains and maintain their look for a long time.
Customized Latte Switches:-
JamesDonkey in collaboration with Huanuo has designed the new “Latte” mechanical switches for the R2 2.0. They offer pure, HiFi typing sound with a silky smooth linear movement. The Latte switches have a factory self-lubricating design and offer a light trigger pressure of just 37±8gf, a trigger keystroke of just 2.0mm, and a total keystroke of just 3.6mm. We also have full-key hot-swappable sockets for easy replacement of switches whenever required.
Versatile Three-Mode Connection:-
JamesDonkey R2 2.0 keyboard offers easy and convenient connectivity with different devices. The keyboard supports versatile three-mode connectivity supporting wireless Bluetooth, wireless 2.4GHz, and wired USB connection modes. It also has a system mode switch key to easily switch between Mac and Windows system operation without any lag. It comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery for an excellent battery life while using wirelessly.
